Announcement for Paper and Poster presentations
Gujarat State NNF and Team GujNeocon 2025 are pleased to invite the submission of abstracts for Oral Paper and Poster competition during Guj Neocon, 2025 to be held on 4-5 October, 2025 at Bhuj.
The presenting author (for Oral Paper and Poster presentations) must adhere to the following rules
- Should be the first author.
- Should have registered for the GujNeocon 2025.
- The research paper should not have been published in any form in any journal so far.
- Consent from the parents/guardians should be obtained wherever applicable, and adequate privacy and confidentiality of the patients should be maintained while preparing the paper.
- How to apply: Send your papers by email to (abstracts.gujneocon2025@gmail.com) along with the following details of the first author to be mentioned at the beginning of the abstract.
- Name, Age, and Gender
- Name of the Institution and Designation
- Address of the author
- E-mail address
- WhatsApp & Contact numbers
- A letter from the Head of the Department verifying the credentials of the author
- Last date for submission (by e-mail only) is 5th September, 2025 - 5 pm.
Category for which applied
Category I: Oral Paper for Super speciality Residents (DM/ DrNB Neonatology) or IAP/ NNF fellows in Neonatology
- An abstract (of not more than 250 words) should be submitted in English in MS Word format (Arial font, size 12) before the last submission date.
- It should be structured as indicated below :
(a) Title (b) All Authors' names (with the presenting author's name underlined) (c) the place of study (d) Name, designation, affiliation, email address, mobile number, and delegate registration number of the presenting author (e) Introduction (f) Aims & Objectives (g) Material & Methods (including statistical methods where relevant) (h) Results (i) Conclusions. - The abstract will be evaluated by the scientific committee and selected for oral presentation only after it is approved by the committee. All other abstracts will be added automatically to the poster presentation category.
- The selected authors for the paper presentation will be informed through email by 25th September, 2025.
Category II: Oral Paper presentation for MD/ DNB Paediatrics residents
- An abstract (of not more than 250 words) should be submitted in English in MS Word format (Arial font, size 12) before the last submission date.
- It should be structured as indicated below
(a) Title (b) All Authors' names (with the presenting author's name underlined) (c) the place of study(d) Name, designation, affiliation, email address, mobile number, and delegate registration number of the presenting author (e) Introduction (f) Aims & Objectives (g) Material & Methods (including statistical methods where relevant) (h) Results (i) Conclusions. - The abstract will be evaluated by the scientific committee and selected for oral presentation only after it is approved by the committee. All other abstracts will be added automatically to the poster presentation category.
- The selected authors for the paper presentation will be informed through email by 25th September, 2025.
Category III: Poster Presentation Category
- An abstract (of not more than 250 words) should be submitted in English in MS Word format (Arial font, size 12) before the last date of submission (5th September, 2025, 5 pm).
- Abstract should briefly describe the case being presented and highlight the challenges/ novelty in management.
- The abstract will be evaluated by the scientific committee and selected for poster presentation only after it is approved by the committee.
- The selected authors for the poster presentation will be informed through email by 25th September, 2025.
